“Pares”- is a dish originating in the Philippines, literally meaning “pair”, this dish is a combination of a beef stew viand and a bowl of soup, both served with rice. Some less popular variations of the dish are rice-topping versions. It is mostly popular in Manila for its good taste and affordability.
Kagay-anons can now enjoy Pares right at the very heart of the city anytime! Tsinoys Pares and Mami House opened its doors to Cagayan de Oro City last July 2013, where of course they serve pares and chinese-filipino inspired dishes. The interior of the restaurant may look intimidating as it is at par to restaurants located in malls, but don’t let the beautiful facade of the restaurant intimidate you because definitely Tsinoys is an affordable place to dine, a place for everyone. Eat at Tsinoys for as low as 29.00 pesos! Yes, we are not kidding!
They also have an air-conditioned function room good for up to 45 persons. So the next time you are looking for a place to eat or a place with good and affordable food to hold small events, check out Tsinoys Pares and Mami House at Tiano-Mabini area, just across Vjandep’s pasalubong store.
