Convenient Pastry Corner – The pasalubong and pastry area is now in an area a little away from the dining area. That means, it’s more convenient giving the customers more space to go around while choosing the pastries they want in their basket.

Missy Bonbon Pasalubong Pastel Launched

Whether nature tripping in the river or mountain, food tripping in its restos, or shopping in street kiosks and malls, Cagayan de Oro shows its visitors such a great time! And when it is time for them to leave, they can’t help but want to take a little bit of the city with them — to prolong their enjoyment, and to share it with their friends and loved ones.

Missy Bon Bon, that cheerful little breadshop in Cagayan de Oro, lets them do just that, with its wide selection of breads, pastries and other baked goodies that travelers just love to take with them as pasalubong. Its ensaimadas, sweet potato buns, and cheesy sponges are among the favorites. In addition to its existing baked treats, Missy Bon Bon has come up with another happiness-inducing creation – the Bon Bon Pastel, a chewy golden brown bun filled with sweet, rich custard. It is sold in brightly colored boxes of 6’s and 12’s.

When these delightful baked goodies are carried off to other provinces and other countries, they hold happy memories of Cagayan de Oro’s warmth and friendship, the joys and adventures experienced here. And when feasted on and shared with others, all those good feelings and happy memories are shared too, and what a privilege it is for Missy Bon Bon to be part of that communal joy!

Missy Bonbon Press Release

Cagayan de Oro City – February 8, 2012 – Tourists and locals who want to take tasty Cagay-anon treats with them as they leave the city now have more options, as the city’s premier breadshop Missy Bon Bon has become a go-to place for pasalubong goodies.

Any of Missy Bon Bon’s breads would make great pasalubongs, according to Henrik Yu, one of the owners of the breadshop.

But in addition to the old favorites, Missy Bon Bon has also come up with a new product – its very own pastel, a soft chewy bun with a sweet and creamy custard filling, available in boxes of 6’s or 12’s.

The classic Missy Bon Bon creations that have become popular as pasalubongs include: the Ensaimada, the Sweet Potato Bread, and the Cheesy sponge.

Missy Bon Bon Breadshop is located in Rosario Drive, Lim Ket Kai Center, and has stalls at G/F Robinson’s Cagayan de Oro and G/F Gaisano Mall.
