Kagay-an Festival 2011: Float Competition Winner

A quick glimpse of the winning Float for this year’s Float competition. This is the second win of Synnex Concentrix. As the largest call center in Cagayan de Oro to date, Concentrix is inspired to show something that will encourage investors to put their money in the City while showing as well its culture and 2 of the trademarks CDO is known for, the Ostrich and the Pineapple. One catching part of the float is the tagline that says “Invest, Enjoy and Stay in CDO” . Concentrix received 150,000 plus trophy as the grand prize winner.

The participating floats were judged based on the following:

Entry Guidelines:
Entry design should clearly reflect the urban dynamism of today’s Cagayan de Oro reflecting its desirability as a city to do business, enjoy, and reside in. Our multi-cultural heritage, thriving economic growth, natural environmental features, peace and order, and sense of God, family, and community are traits of Cagayan de Oro we wish to herald during this event.
