Have You Been To Kafe Al Fresco?

How’s dining outside the restaurant in a relaxing wooden structure while enjoying a fresh air? Sounds great to me! I recently visited a place in Sta. Cecilia Subd., Gusa at the invitation of my good friend Irene a.k.a Mindanaoan. It’s quite far from where we usually dine but because we love to discover new places and awesome dishes (wow that rhymes!), we took time to visit the place and experience the buzz that we’ve been seeing in Social Media, particularly the mouthwatering food photos in Instagram.

Kafe Al Fresco is a small cafe within a compound that also has a row of apartments owned by the Hojas family. When you get into the place, the first thing you will see (and love!) is the wooden structure – actually the “al Fresco” part with wooden tables and padded benches perfect for a relaxing meal with friends and loved ones. Of course, there’s also the tables with umbrellas in one corner.

If you however prefer to take your meals or coffee inside, Kafe Al Fresco has an equally inviting air conditioned area, mini sofa near the counter (unfortunately I forgot to take pictures). What I love with Kafe Al Fresco is the affordability of their menu! Whether you are there for coffee, smoothies, meals or even wine, be assured that you will experience great meals without emptying your pocket. You can enjoy drinks/coffee as affordable as P50!

Al Fresco rolls
My favorite and Kafe Al Fresco’s best selling Spring Rolls served with a delish sauce – super worth your money! Again, it is very affordable! I paired it with a freshly brewed lemon iced tea.

Health conscious? Don’t worry, Kafe Al Fresco got you covered! Choose from their variety of organic tea, like yummy organic tea! I tried their Green Tea with Pomegranate (super yummy!).
