How to Help Sendong Survivors

joy-in-every-toy

Since Typhoon Sendong, Filipinos have ones again proven their generosity and passion for those in dire need. Every Kagay-anon and Iliganon are very much grateful for all the support financially and emotionally. It’s been a month since Sendong unwelcomely visited and ravaged both Cagayan de Oro and Iligan yet the needs of those who have survived the typhoon especially those who have lost their homes, properties and loved ones still needs much help.

Thankfully private individuals initiated activities in the effort to continue helping the survivors. I am posting all these and appeal to your kind hearts to please continue to help.

Toys for Typhoon Sendong Survivor Kids

This project is called Joy in Every Toy. If you have unused toys make them happily useful again through donating them to at least bring some smile on those innocent faces after that horrendous experience.

Where to drop your toy donation: Maria Reyna – Xavier University Hospital, Hayes St., Cagayan de Oro City. You may also drop them at 52nd Business Center, 52 Justo Gaerlan St., Cagayan de Oro City.

If you are feeling more generous and wants to donate more, say a bulk of toys, please email sendong.toy4joy@gmail.com.

To mail your donations, send to Camiguin Island Resort Inc. (Attn: Yummy Paras) Ground floor, 52nd Business Center, 52 Justo Gaerlan St., 9000 Cagayan de Oro City.
