Ali Na Sa Ale

Ale for us Filipinos is in reference to a woman. This term can very well describe Cagayan de Oro’s latest homegrown restaurant, Ale Restaurant as “Ale” in this restaurant is basically the name of the woman behind this new dining place.

The place may seem intimidating to some people but I’m telling you it’s a wonderful place to dine (I love how spacious it is) and the menu friendly to the wallet. It’s a perfect place to eat with families and friends.

If you love chicken, I highly recommend going to Ale Restaurant and try their house specialty! What I love about their chicken is it’s crispiness without any coating. Get the whole tasty chicken for only 350 pesos, or if it’s too much for you (in case you have no company), you can order half for 175 pesos.

I am not a Tofu fan but this one, on my friend’s insistence (just because she is super inlove with Ale’s Tofu), she insisted that I try. True enough! It did not disappoint. I love that it’s crispy on the outside and a little soft on the inside but not too mushy (that gooey tofu texture that I don’t really like).

More delish dishes below from Ale Restaurant that I’ve tried so far. Actually I do love the Arroz Caldo (unfortunately I forgot to take picture of it the last time I ordered it).

Apart from these, Ale Restaurant also serves breakfast as they open as early as 7:00AM. Choose among Adobo Flakes at 145 pesos or Homemade Corned Beef @ 155 pesos only (all served with egg, garlic rice and brewed coffee/tea).

So the next time you want to try something new with your loved ones, friends, or relatives, drop by at Ale Restaurant located at Level 1 Robinsons Supermarket, Cagayan de Oro City.

  1. I’ve been curious about Ale for months now. I just don’t have enough money or time to go there. Curious because, it may turn up to be the usual restaurant serving typical Filipino dishes that you can get on other places. I hope there’s something special about there menu.
