Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano announced the plan of putting up public colleges in Calaanan of barangay Canitoan (where most relocation villages of the typhoon Sendong survivors are located) and barangay Kauswagan – another area hit by the typhoon. Asian Business College Cabletow Academy (ABCCA) will make this possible with the aim to help more poor students complete their college education.
Currently ABCCA has 4 branches offering courses that will prepare the students for a brighter future. Mayor Emano has this to say during his announcement.
